"Exxodus-bac Brick" is an extremely porous filtration Brick that encourages bio-filtration and bacterial colonization in aquariums and aquatic systems.
- Designed to be used in marine and freshwater aquariums with a pH of 7. 5 or over. Highest porosity and largest useable surface area, per unit weight or volume, of all filtration media available.
- Provides large amounts of anaerobic surface area for bacterial colonization for denitrification, and sulfur doping to act as an electron donor to accelerate the process in freshwater, ponds or marine applications. Provides over 71, 000 square feet (6, 596 square meters) of surface area per liter of medium; one brick has about 125, 000 square feet of useable surface area for bacterial colonization.
- Reduces phosphate and dissolved organics. Doped with Aragonite to buffer pH, preventing acid buildup which eventually would kill healthy organisms and reduce capacity.
- Stays wet for days, allowing bacteria to remain viable after an equipment failure and ready for the repair.

| Directions | One Exxodus-BAC brick will provide nitriication for about 1,000 U.S. gallons, ( 3,800 L ) of aquarium volume. Rinse brick gently in purified tap water or aquarium water. Pre-seed the product by placing it in a plastic container, submerged in aquarium water, and adding the recommended dose for your aquarium size of the aforementioned products (BacterClean or BacterGen). Allow the product to remain in this soak for 12 to 24 hours, stirring gently occasionally or agitating the liquid by pouring out and back into the container, gently. Place the seeded Exxodus-BAC plate into system. The use of a pre-filtration filter floss, sponge or other mechanical pre-filtration is recommended. Caution: Do not fluidize or allow to abrade against moving parts. Material can wear down due to mechanical action, and produce dust and fines. Keep out of reach of children. Not for human consumption. If ingested drink water, consult with a physician. |
